How many reusable cloth diapers do I need?
This is by far the most asked question we get. We recommend if you are wanting to use cloth fulltime, that you have around 20-30 cloth diapers for good rotation.
What are the best reusable cloth diapers?
Every baby is different, what works for one doesn't always work for the other. However, anything we stock is because we have tried and tested it on our children ourselves. We only stock the best cloth diapers available.
Are reusable cloth diapers as convenient as disposable ones?
Many parents find reusable cloth nappies just as convenient once they get used to the routine. They require regular washing but are eco-friendly and cost-effective in the long run.
How do I clean and maintain cloth diapers?
Cleaning cloth nappies involves rinsing off solids, storing them in a wet bag, and washing them in your machine with a diaper-friendly detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and high heat for longevity.
Do cloth diapers really save money?
Yes, cloth diapers can save a significant amount of money compared to disposables, especially if used for multiple children. Initial costs might be higher, but the long-term savings are substantial.
Aren't cloth diapers less absorbent?
Modern cloth nappies are designed with absorbent layers and come with adjustable inserts. They can be as absorbent as disposables, and leaks are minimal when fitted correctly.
Are cloth diapers better?
Of course they are! If you include the cost of water and electricity for washing them, they still work out cheaper than disposable diapers. Reusable modern cloth diapers are a much more cost effective and are an environmentally friendly option than disposable nappies and come at relatively little inconvenience
