How To Wash

Proper washing ensures your inserts stay highly absorbent and last for years. Follow these four simple steps:

Pre-Rinse (Remove Waste)

Remove any solid waste from the insert and flush it down the toilet. Immediately run used inserts through a cold water rinse cycle (or a quick wash cycle, 30-60 minutes) to flush out the majority of urine and residue.

Main Wash (Cleanse)

Run a long, heavy-duty cycle (2–3 hours) using warm water (40–60°C) and the recommended amount of cloth-safe detergent. This step deep-cleans the inserts and must be thorough to prevent buildup and odors.

Dry (Sanitize & Preserve)

Line dry your inserts under the sun whenever possible, as UV rays naturally sanitize and help to remove stains. If using a machine, tumble dry on the low heat setting only to protect the fibers and elastics.

Storage (Ready for Next Use)

Once completely dry, fold and store your clean inserts in a dry, well-ventilated space (like a drawer or cabinet) until they are needed for the next diaper change.
